Gerber Daisies Soy Candle Fundraiser
Welcome to our fundraiser!!! This is just a quick letter to let you all know how this will work, should you choose to participate.
Our fundraiser will begin Saturday, September 20th, and end October 12th.
All orders will be fulfilled and delivered the week of November 3rd.
There are no shipping costs associated with this fundraiser, however please make sure to include tax. I will deliver all orders to the studio and will set up a time to meet up with dance families. Each family that participates in this fundraiser will receive 15% of their total sales of candles, before tax. Your earnings are per family, and will be given to you via check upon delivery of your orders. What you sell, you yourself, earn!
Every candle is soy and homemade and are available in three sizes;
16oz - (approx. 100 burn hours) - $11
8oz - (approx. 50 hours) - $7
Tarts - (approx. 24 burn hours) - $2.50
Why soy? Soy candles do not burn black, so there will be no black soot on the jars. Soy candles burn to a liquid, and upon extinguishing, they cure again. They just smell so good!!!

LUNCH MENU OPTIONS
Just to clarify for everyone - you should be using NEUTRAL tones for your eye shadow unless your instructor has told you otherwise.
Please also check the costume info. sheets you were given for hair details. If you have a pony or a bun it should be parted over the right eye. We will remind you all of this at stage rehearsals too. :)
I've put together a schedule for kids to get one more crack at the stage space before the March 1-3 Dance Xplosion Competition. Hopefully this works for everyone - I do realize the times vary a bit from what a normal class time is - did the best I could with one space to work in and still trying to provide adequate time to our dancers.

Company Stars...
2/10 - Nice job today! We have a little cleaning to do but getting on the stage and having an audience for the first time is so hard and I am proud of you all. I am especially proud of our new crew and new company members. This was your warm-up and I hope you all had a great time!!
Here is what you need to know for Saturday's stage rehearsals. ;)
Saturday, Feb. 16 - Stage Rehearsals and Informal Family showing!! Here is the rehearsal schedule... we ask you to bring costumes if they are in or we will bring to you that day. (Be sure your balances are paid) The kids may not have time in their blocked rehearsal to use costumes but they will definitely practice in them (if available) for the stage showing in the evening. If you don't have a costume, we recommend wearing the black leo, black dance shorts, and the tights you will need (with shoes). There are no extra charges for these classes. We like to offer our time to you and treat these as make-ups for cancellations that have already occurred or may in the future. Sometimes we may feel the kids deserve a night off and again, these rehearsals can be 'make-ups' for those times. We thank you for saving the date and those that area away, we understand. It is unfortunate the way the calendar falls with break and DXP coming up right afterwards. But..oh well, we make do!
I've allowed 5 min. between dances to change shoes so we can keep to our 30 min. 'on stage' time. :)
I think Allie may be out of town and Lauren will be back the week after and Molly may have to work? So... I guess you are stuck with Tricia and me all day ladies!! ;)

For those performing in the 'Muppets' piece "Life's A Happy Song" here is some important information regarding costume stuff. ♥ I have high hopes for this number. If you are new, welcome! Even if you did it last year, please review below for specifics. Miss Shereen Daly will be checking you all this weekend at your dress rehearsal for Dance For Life.
Costumes:
BRIGHT, HAPPY, PREPPY street clothing. Tee-shirts, tank tops, shorts, capris, or skirts (preppy skirts, not tight skirts… think cheerleader skirt, with appropriate briefs underneath). (layering tops is ok too, like 2 different bright tanks, or a long tank under a tee)
SOLID COLORS ONLY, NO prints, NO patterns, NO logos, NO designs. NO SEQUINS or sparkles. NO black, NO white, NO beige. NO pastel colors.
ONLY pinks, reds, purples, blues, yellows, oranges and greens (THE BRIGHTER, THE BETTER).
HAIR: can be all different as long as it’s off the face and neat. (ponytails, half up/half down, french twist, pig-tails, side ponytail... ALL GOOD)
***Hair accessories are ok too, but they can’t fall out on stage. Please pin them in your hair well!
NO JEWELERY, unless small stud earrings,
***solid bright colored scarves are ok too, but must not fall off.
TIGHTS: light sun-tan, FOOTLESS (capri length I believe... Allison Carlos will know) (sold at Dance Alley)
SHOES: Nude GEL Foot Undeez (sold at Dance Alley)
