NO ADMISSION - DONATION ONLY
Come in the building by 5:30 - use the parking garage or main entrance
Please put a check your name off at the dressing room door when you are in the building so we can keep tabs on if anyone is missing.  A list and pencil will be provided by the door area. ;)  THIS IS NEW PROTOCOL - thank you!

WARM-UP
Dancers in Beginning Level 1 and up are invited/asked to participate in a 'company warm-up' beginning at 5:45 p.m. on the stage.  We will close the curtain and have all the dancers join together for a fun warm-up with some of our senior students leading.  We ask that there be NO COSTUMES on the stage at this time.  The kids will be sitting on the floor and stretching, etc. and we want to be sure your garments are in good condition.  You may send them in play clothes, dance clothes, tights are fine.  Your dancer's hair and make-up must be complete if they are in the first 10 acts of the show.  Dance shoes are encouraged for the warm-up but not required. We ask that our pre-school students NOT participate in the warm-up to avoid the large group setting and keep it a positive experience for the little ones. ;)  Parents are invited backstage to snap as many candids of the warm-ups as you would like.  At approx. 6:10/6:15 we will do our annual "PASS THE SQUEEZE."  We've been doing this for a very long time and it's become a time honored tradition!  We circle up ALL DANCERS - asking our PRE-SCHOOL dancers to now join us (in costume is fine) and we pass a squeeze all around the circle and have a big cheer.  I will give the kids some final announcements and send them to you all in the dressing rooms.

Approx. 6:15/6:20 - dancers are sent to their dressing rooms to finalize their appearance; costumes, make-up touch ups, etc.
STAGE LEFT DRESSING ROOM (prospective of the performer - looking out to the seating area) - this is for all STARZ Company Dancers.
STAGE RIGHT DRESSING ROOM (prospective of the performer - looking out to the seating) - this is for all RECREATIONAL Class Dancers.

DRESSING ROOM STAFFING
Our staff will take their posts in the dressing rooms and the backstage areas at 6:25 p.m.  We could use 1 or 2 volunteers to assist on the Stage Right side.  If available, let us know.   We are looking for someone to assist with pulling the curtain as well for the show.   If available, let us know.

**Please note I will be running the  music throughout the show and will not be available to float away from the table. I will be on the STAGE LEFT side where the music has been set up all week. :)

SEATING AREA
There are no tickets for this event so seating is first come first serve.  The only seats that will be taped off will be for staff families and dancers.  There will be small sections of seating taped off on either side of the auditorium for our staff to place dancers in if needed when there is overflow in the dressing rooms through the weekend.   There will be monitors on in the dressing rooms allowing all dancers backstage to watch the show in there as well.  We thank Ennova Productions for continuing to assist with us providing this service to our performers.  Some seating will be needed for after the final dance act #21.  Also - the center section of the front row will be needed for slide show set up.  Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Curtain will be promptly at 6:30 - you will note that it is time to begin the show when the lighting booth gives a 5 min. light warning with a couple of blinks of the house (auditorium) lighting.  We ask at that time that everyone finds their seats.  We will have a few brief announcements before the show begins.  There is to be NO FLASH PHOTOGRAPHY during the shows.  We also remind you that there be no food or drink in the auditorium and to do your best to move from your seat only between dances for the courtesy of our performers.

Pre-School Acknowledgments
We will have a brief break after the Act #10 to acknowledge our Pre-School students in the show.  After this is completed, we will close the curtain and continue the program.  Pre-School parents may come and get their children in the backstage area at this time and enjoy the remainder of the show together.

What goes on at the end - a little bit of a new format this year
At the conclusion of the show, all STARZ dancers will begin to prepare for their closing performance.  All recreational dancers must be lining up backstage by #18.   At the conclusion of #21 we will begin our curtain call in a new fashion this year.  All recreational classes will take turns feeding from their side of the stage- 1 class at a time - they will bow at the front of the stage and parents can run up any gifts or flowers you might have, then we will have a staff on the other side to guide them to their seating area in the front.  Once the last class has finished bowing, we will be sure our STARZ dancers are in place and they will perform their closing dance for you.   At the conclusion of this performance we will get the dancers seated and I will give some time for thank yous, 5 & 10 Year trophy recipients, and our National Dance Week entry  participants.  We will drop the screen down for our end of the year Slide Show - courtesy of Carla VanWormer!  And then... that's a wrap!  :)  Time to go out for ice cream!   :)

If you have not ordered a video yet - the slide show will be on the video so you may want to be sure to order one!  It's not too late to do so. We have forms available in the auditorium tonight.  At the show, simply contact Ennova Productions in person and they will take care of your needs.

We have shows on Saturday at 1:00 and 6:00 and we invite you to come back. Each show should be approx. 90 min. or less and they are all filled with different performances!   We hope you enjoy your experience and come back for more next year.  If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask - I'll do my best to get back to you!
